Programme update, 28 September

Many of you will have had an email summarising our plans. In brief:

• Four concert evenings, monthly from February to May: the Piatti Quartet; the Gould Piano Trio, with Robert Plane on clarinet; Serenissima; Chloë Hanslip (violin) and Danny Driver (piano).
• The programmes will be finalised over the next few weeks - check the Concerts page for the current state of play - but we aim to put on two one-hour concerts per evening. This is to enable more people to attend, while maintaining social distancing in a sparsely populated auditorium.
• Single tickets only. We'll be selling no Season Tickets for these concerts, but anyone who had a Season Ticket in the 2019-20 season will benefit from priority ordering. 
• And finally, as you can see from the artist line-up, we are determined not to put on an 'austerity programme', even though attendance is bound to be constrained by Covid. We follow Charity Commission guidelines on financial reserves, and can afford a rainy day.
