We’re looking for someone with computer skills to help us out for an hour or two a week. You don’t need to be an all-round IT genius, so long as you’re generally computer-savvy and able to spend a little time getting to know our systems. If that’s not you, stop reading now! If it might be, read on.

On our shopping list:

• Website management. We use Weebly, a simple but elegant cloud-based authoring package. It works fine for our needs, but we’re not bound to it.
• Database management and marketing. We use Salesforce CRM, also cloud-based - so you’ll need good internet access. Anyone with a basic understanding of relational databases can be using it within a day.
• Desktop publishing. Are you a would-be designer with time to spare and DTP software on your computer? Talk to us, please!

Here we are with two and a half weeks before our opening concert, and Season Ticket sales have already matched last season's total. Not surprising, perhaps - it's a pretty good programme, though we say so as shouldn't...

This is the first time we've offered Season Tickets online, and the move has been popular. Over 40% of our ticket sales are now electronic, with some Members commenting what a relief it is to get away from the drudgery of stamp, envelope and cheque. This season we have offered five ways to pay; next season, if Richmond Information Centre can sell tickets by then, it should be six. The choice is yours.
