The second half of our 2015-16 season kicked off in January with a memorable recital by the violinist Tasmin Little. The audience - our largest in years - enjoyed brilliant musicianship, a display of lightly-worn knowledge, and several spectacular frocks.
On 5 March we welcome the Albany Trio. We seem to like piano trios in Richmond, and have had a number in recent seasons. This one promises to be a delight, with works by Haydn, Smetana, Ernest Bloch and Rebecca Clarke - one of whose early pieces was thought to have been written by Bloch under a pseudonym, because it was clearly too good to have come from an almost unknown British female composer.
