Meet our Trustees - Chris Shaw, Chairman

Chris comes from Leeds, and moved to Richmond after a Physics teaching career in Rotherham, Manchester and London. He has played various instruments and now enjoys playing double bass in chamber groups, small ensembles and symphony orchestras.

Chris is fascinated by musical instruments, and recently embarked on the long-term project of building a double bass. His pianistic abilities are worse than most, he says, but he now has church organ lessons so that he can play that badly too.
